*Excess reduction

We will agree to reduce the Accidental Damage Excess in respect of any incident which may be the subject of a claim under the policy, provided that; • The incident is notified within 12/24 hours (see further details in the table to the right of this page) of the incident taking place by calling Freeway UK Insurance appointed Claims Service Providers • You use our approved repairers • You do not report this incident to any other party, or utilise another supplier’s services other than Freeway UK Insurance appointed Claims Service • The following details are provided (as a minimum): o Registration number of any third party vehicle involved o Make and model of any third party vehicle involved o Name of any third party involved o Contact telephone numbers for the third party(ies) o Any witness details (where applicable). No reduction will apply to damage caused by fire, theft (including attempted theft), malicious damage/vandalism, flood, or where there is no third party vehicle involved.

**Uninsured driver

If you have an accident that is not your fault and the driver of the other vehicle is not insured, your No Claim Discount won’t be affected, and you won’t have to pay your excess, providing you report the incident to us within 24 hours of the incident occurring, and supply the following: • The vehicle registration number, make, and model of the vehicle of any third party involved • Where possible, the name and address of the uninsured driver • Details of any witnesses to the incident (where applicable) • Enough information that would confirm this is a non-fault accident (e.g. road layout, images, we may also request an engineer’s report)
